The Program Model

 

The Primary Years Program (Grades 1 to 5) offers English, Chinese, Mathematics, Unit of Inquiry (including six transdisciplinary themes), Physical Social and Personal Education, and Visual Art. The program takes a holistic approach to education, aiming to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, caring, and culturally aware children through inquiry-based learning, who will become active participants in their own learning.

 

The Middle Years Program (Grades 6 to 8) offers courses in English Language and Literature, Chinese Language Acquisition/Chinese Language and Literature, Individuals and Societies, Mathematics, Sciences, Physical and Health Education, Visual Art, and Design. This program builds a solid academic foundation, fostering students' confidence in managing their own learning, and encourages them to make practical connections between their studies and the real world.

 

The Transitional Year Program (Grade 9) offers English, Chinese Language Acquisition/Chinese Language and Literature, Individuals and Societies, Mathematics, Sciences, Physical and Health Education, Visual Art, and Design. It provides a solid transition to international high school programs, starting from Grade 10 in Wenzhou.
