In early 2021, the Wenzhou Municipal Government endorsed the initiative to launch an international school for children of expatriates in the vicinity in order to meet the growing educational needs of the local international communities. Wenzhou Union International School (WUIS), jointly founded by Wenzhou-Kean University Education Development Foundation and Likeda Holdings, was thus established. Upon approval by the Department of Education of the Zhejiang Provincial Government in July 2021, the School was registered with the Zhejiang Civil Affairs Bureau in August 2021.

Wenzhou Union International School (WUIS) invites foreign parents and students to experience our international curriculum firsthand through our "Personalized Open Day Experience." Participants can choose any weekday to attend classes alongside our current students, engaging in lessons across various subjects based on their grade level. This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to witness the quality of education and the engaging learning environment at WUIS. As the only international school in the Wenzhou vicinity offering formal foreign curricula at both the primary and secondary levels, WUIS aims to provide quality international education for the children of expatriates, overseas Chinese, and citizens of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. The Moments When Learning Happens
On November 5 in the afternoon, Wenzhou Union International School held a treasure hunt activity at Wenzhou Sanyang Wetland Park. The activity aimed to provide students with an opportunity to experience a different style of learning in a natural environment and appreciate the beauty of Autumn in Wenzhou.
